Fantastic stay
"We spent a week enjoying stunning sunrises and enjoyable excursions during the days. We were able to visit Peggy’s Cove, Queensland beach, Chester, Mahone Bay, Lunenburg, hiked Split Cove, and Halifax proper. The house is as stunning as the pictures online. We are already planning our next visit!"

This is really an amazing home. It is beautifully designed in a modern style with windows everywhere to take advantage of spectacular 360 degree view of the water and countryside. With 5 bedrooms on 3 floors, there is a lot of room to spread out and relax -- great for family groups to spend time together while still having some privacy. The kitchen is very well stocked, there are plenty of linens and after a trip to a grocery store, you could just spend a week at the house gazing at the amazing view and enjoying this beautiful home. But, you should "force" yourself to leave at least to see Peggy's Cove a few minutes away or to explore the harbour and grab a gourmet meal in Halifax (about 35 minutes away). We also recommend hiking the less crowded Polly's Cove on the way to Peggy's Cove.
Other things we enjoyed about the home were the foosball table, the jetted tub, the workout equipment, the firepit outside where we made smores, and the short walk on the gorgeous private path to the water. The path leads right to the water but ends at a rocky overlook so there is no actual ability to swim at the property (which was ok with us since the water was about 50 degrees in early July!). We saw deer and pheasant on the property and nearby. We didn't watch much TV but the house has great service and we caught a CFL game one night.
We highly recommend this gorgeous and unique home.
